The 1st Philippine Mt. Everest Expedition Team

Mr. Leo Oracion and Mr. Pastour Emata, the first Filipinos who conquered the world’s highest peak, along with Expedition Team Leader and former DOTC Undersecretary, Mr. Art Valdez landed on the BOTAK Sport Shop last October 12, 2006.

Isport BOTAK is truly honored to have these Everest Heroes graced Our Anniversary Treat Grand Draw.

Also, we are equally privileged to back-up Mr. Oracion and Mr. Emata
by providing them these jerseys (based from the original design of Leo himself) during their pre-race preparation for the NOMADS Adventure Race last October 19-21, 2006. Leo and Pastor were part of the Studio 23 – SANDUGO Team.

These pieces were also worn by the 1st Philippine Mt. Everest Expedition Team during their interview for PROBE, the country’s reputable investigative news magazine program on ABS-CBN, hosted by the highly-respected Broadcast Journalist, Ms. Cheche Lazaro. The said episode was aired last October 25, 2006.

The Power Racer: Ms. Gaby dela Merced

She drives really fast! She’s the most promising and fast-rising Filipina racer! She has proven her mettle in the 2006 Asian Formula 3 by bagging down the 2nd place overall in the promotions class.

But she’s not all that. She is a certified sports buff, with flag football, basketball, soccer, table tennis, billiards and chess also in her line.

Truly, Ms. Gaby dela Merced has excelled in her leagues, raising the Filipina spirit, capacity and strength in sports. We are humbly privileged to have her as one of our BOTAK patrons and friends.

Gaby is also showcasing her sportsmanship in flag football, being the team captain and quarter-back of TEAM-M, which she herself organized a few years back.

Isport BOTAK is privileged to back-up TEAM-M’s performance by providing them jerseys for this year’s Women 7 on 7 of the Philippine Flag Football League.

These gorgeous and sporty young ladies have proven that they are tough on the football field by grabbing the Championship Title in this year’s Super Bowl!!! Team-M gained the Championship goals held last November 25, 2006 at Corinthian Gardens.
