Team Austin Pinoys or more popularly known as Team ATX Pinoys was drawn as the recipient of Our Anniversary Treat. According to the authorized representative, he was at first taken back by our offer, but then actually got excited after finding out that the treat is TRUE and that their team has been the lucky recipient!
Now how do they feel that free uniforms will be on their way? “Very excited and would proudly promote it. Thanks for the treat. Maraming Salamat BOTAK team!! Check out the BOTAK products thru their website.”
The team is also honored to have been drawn by the 1st Philippine Mt. Everest Expedition Team. “…it was an honor. Again, thank you Mr. Oracion, Mr. Emata and Mr. Valdez. Congratulations on achieving such feat, your hard work and sacrifice made every Filipino around the world proud. Mabuhay kayo at Mabuhay ang Pilipino!!!”
Now it’s time to get to know them!
The team was formed in 1999 by Mr. Rommel Corro, the man on Jersey 21 who is a self-confessed do-it-all individual. Why? Well he’s just the team coach, captain and manager all-in-one!
As the players have lived in Austin Texas, they adopted their residence name and incorporated the Pinoy identity.
Though formed six years ago, the last four years has been the determinant of the team’s undertakings. And as they plan to compete in the Pflugerville Open League in Spring 2007, they intend to use our offered free uniforms in the said tournament.
Should that be, Isport BOTAK is more than happy to be instrumental to the comeback of this team in the hard court, as its all-star players get to execute those power moves and power points all over again.
Team ATX Pinoys extends warm greetings to Kababayans, all around the country, all around the world. “Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!!”

2005 PRDC 4th place due to some missing players and injuries
2006 PRDC Tournament 2nd place (May 27-28, 2006) – The team added new players and they are still getting used to playing together. Mr. Corro wasn’t able to join again due to injury.
